Seven years in the making. Iceland had been calling since I first picked up a camera, but it took years to build the courage to plan that first international adventure. When I finally made it, the land of fire and ice delivered everything I'd dreamed of and more.

The friendly Icelandic horses that greeted me along the way and the charming puffins with their colorful beaks remind us that life finds a way to thrive even in the most challenging environments.
